Who provides this site

Educational content, not advice about your policy
The pages, guides, glossary, calculators and checks on this site are general information about how Medicare, Social Security and insurance work, with New York specifics where they matter. They are not a quote, a coverage determination, legal, tax or investment advice, or a recommendation of a specific plan or policy. Insurance coverage is determined by the actual policy issued by the carrier, and Medicare and Social Security eligibility and benefits are determined by the federal agencies that run them. Nothing here guarantees that a plan, a subsidy, an assistance program or a premium will be available to you.
Figures and dates
Premiums, deductibles, income limits, enrollment dates and legal rules change, usually every January and sometimes mid-year. I keep the figures current and cite the primary source under each page, but a figure can be out of date on the day you read it. Confirm anything you'll act on with me or with the official source linked.
Medicare pages
I do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information I provide is limited to the plans I do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program for information on all of your options. Not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the Social Security Administration or the federal Medicare program. Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, federal rules require a Scope of Appointment, which I collect separately.
Calculators and checks
The IRMAA and penalty estimators, the coverage gap checks and the claim check work only from what you type in. They run in your browser, keep your answers on your own device, and send nothing unless you choose to. Their results are a starting point for a conversation, not a determination.
What you agree not to do
- Use the site or its forms to send spam, malicious code or automated requests.
- Copy the content wholesale for republication. Quoting with a link back is welcome.
- Submit sensitive personal information (Social Security or Medicare numbers, health records, financial documents) through the contact form, email, text or WhatsApp; we agree on a secure way when documents are needed.
Links to other sites
Links to medicare.gov, ssa.gov, New York State agencies, carriers and other sites are provided for convenience. I don't control those sites and am not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the extent New York law allows, the site is provided as is, and I am not liable for losses that result from relying on general information here without confirming it applies to your situation. Nothing in these terms limits the duties I owe you as a licensed producer under New York insurance law once you become a client.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about this website is subject to the courts of New York.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
